The Worst Street In North America

We pull up to 769 East Hastings, in Vancouver, and our surroundings indicated that we were not in the nicest neighborhood. But how bad could it be, really? Well, the guy working at the liquor store next to the club said that it was "the worst street in North America." Then again, he didn't seem to concerned about working there every day. Everyone we met thereafter seemed to have a crazy story about the hood. Another guy working security told us about a serial killer who frequented the neighborhood looking for prostitutes. The man was arrested in 2002 and is estimated to have abducted over 65 women and fed them to his pigs!

Despite the sketchy surroundings, the staff was great to us, and the show was a lot of fun. More importantly, we made it back to America...safe and sound.
