The Kitty In The Cupboard

Hoping that we were riding on the coattails of Spring time, we were greeted by a massive snow storm in Missoula. Good news is that that basement venue of The Palace provides for a warm getaway from the cold, and the show was a success (thank you KBGA!). We also had time for a quick snow ball fight with our good friends Ryan and Brittany.
Now picture this: it's late in the morning, and you need a drink of water. You walk to the kitchen and help yourself to a glass from the cupboard...when low a behold, A KITTY! Now that's hilarious! And so an unquestionable thank you is do to Chris, Earcandy Records, and The Kitty In The Cupboard. Thanks for the hospitality and dedicated support of our new record!

Ninja Stars And Webmasters

This is Mike Grigg, probably the best web designer in the game today. And yes, he shot that buck. In any case, we did some hangin' out during a day off in Seattle. One thing lead to another, and then we were playing whiskey shot roulette...
Damon an I made a quick trip to the corner store. Now, it appears that this is becoming too coming common a theme, but we found ourselves in a pretty rough neighborhood. Armed with a solitary throwing star, we were swooped on by a car and targeted with some sort of laser. It was then that I realized that a Ninja star is only an effective means of self defense if you are, in fact, a Ninja. Assuming it was a laser pointer and not its more dangerous cousin, we quickly fled to the vicinity of some near by cop cars. They told us that we "probably don't want to be walking around here at night." No shit.

The Worst Street In North America

We pull up to 769 East Hastings, in Vancouver, and our surroundings indicated that we were not in the nicest neighborhood. But how bad could it be, really? Well, the guy working at the liquor store next to the club said that it was "the worst street in North America." Then again, he didn't seem to concerned about working there every day. Everyone we met thereafter seemed to have a crazy story about the hood. Another guy working security told us about a serial killer who frequented the neighborhood looking for prostitutes. The man was arrested in 2002 and is estimated to have abducted over 65 women and fed them to his pigs!

Despite the sketchy surroundings, the staff was great to us, and the show was a lot of fun. More importantly, we made it back to America...safe and sound.

The Beer Is Awesome

They say the people in Bellingham are very nice. Well, that's true about the beer too! Whiltst Chow Nasty served up some delicious beats, The Boundary Bay was pumping out some awesome pints, like the 'Scotch' and 'Outmeal Stout'.We'd like to thank Valella Valella for playing with us on three dates of our tour. They're great, and you should take a second to check them out. Good night.

Pony Expresso

Thank you for great coffee and good times! This was our first drive-through merch sale, and for that we will always remember the Pony Expresso. It is an excellent coffee hut, and we recommend it to all passers by. Say hello to Crissy if you see her!

Snackmaster

Grilled Cheese, meet Hotdog. Hotdog, meet Grilled Cheese. I'm surprised you haven't met before this incredible happening. We had a really good show in Seattle, and now we are going to eat you. I know that's a bit harsh, but it's dog eat dog out there...or rather, hungry musician eat dog in early morning...yummy.

Blog Dylan

Judah said that he would not be sad if Bob Dylan's tour bus had on of those tragic crashes. He also said something about whoopin' his ass, but that's ridiculous, right? I mean come on, it's Bob Dylan! Well, we found Judah passed out after the show in Olympia, and he had some interesting reading material...
Looks like he loves Bobby D after all, just like the rest of us.
We have also had the good fortune of seeing many of our best friends on this stretch of the tour. Special thanks to Andrew and Stacy for cooking us breakfast and buying some good beer! And Jonathan, it was a pleasure riding up the coast with you.
